You can choose from our list of harvest units or your can customize your harvest units to record harvests in measurements that match your farm's harvest containers or units. Customizing your harvest units is a useful way to create accurate records of harvests in measurements that may be unique to your farm. Examples of customized harvest measurements that farmers use in AgSquared includes trays, small boxes, large boxes and flats.
To enter your harvest unit for a planting - go to the planting overview and open the edit harvest section.
To choose from the list of units - click on the list icon and then click on a unit from the list.
To customize a unit of measurement - type your measurement into the box.
Once you have entered a unit of measurement, that unit will appear by default for your planting when you create harvests or harvest activities.
If you harvest your plantings in varied units than you can record each harvest in the applicable unit by adding that unit to the new/edit harvest or the new/edit harvest activity form.
