Mapping your Farm

Last Updated: Nov 13, 2017 01:42PM EST
Mapping your farm in AgSquared is easy and fun!  With just a few clicks you can find a satellite image of your farm and draw in all of your fields, greenhouses, and other major buildings and landmarks.
To open the AgSquared mapping window, click on the Map button in the Places tool. It looks like this
By default the map will center on the street address you've entered in your farm's information page. If you'd like to search for a different address, find the address search box in the upper right hand corner of the mapping window:
Type in the address you'd like to search for, and either press Enter or click on the magnifying glass, and the map will re-center on that address.  You may need to adjust the exact aerial view with the pan and/or zoom tools on the left of the map.  These tools will allow you to center to your preferred aerial view of the farm.

Once you have entered one or more properties, by default the map will center on the first property you mapped each time you open it. You can jump to other properties simply by selecting a property name from the property selector on the upper right:

If you;d like to search by address, click the address search icon .  If you'd like to search by property, click the properties selector icon .
