Assigning plantings to locations allows you to manage and keep track of where your plantings are on your farm throughout the season. You can assign plantings to locations by clicking on the button found in the Overview tab of any planting in the Crops Tool:

Assign a Planting to a Growing Enclosure
Assign a Planting to a Field and Bed(s)
There are 3 ways to search for and select a Container Planting Location:
2. Click on the magnifying glass button and find the location in the drop down list.
3. Click on the button and search for the location via your Map. Click on the correct location and then click "Select this Place" (see below):
Note: Container and Container, then in Ground Plantings can only be sown in growing enclosures in AgSquared. If you propagate your plantings in another location on your farm (i.e. garage, tool shed, etc), you must draw and save that place as a growing enclosure on your map.
To filter your benches by date, enter a date range in the two boxes at the top of the window. You can also view your benches which are empty by checking the "Show only empty benches" box.
There are 3 ways to search for and select an In Ground Planting Location:
2. Click on the magnifying glass button and choose your field from the dropdown list.
3. Click on button to choose a field from your map. Click on the correct field and then click "Select this Place" (see below):
Note: In Ground Plantings can be assigned to growing enclosures. To setup growing enclosures the can have In Ground Plantings, you must check the "Exposed Soil" box in the New Growing Enclosure form in the Places Tool.
If your In Ground Plantings are planted in beds, click on and in the window that opens check the box to the left of the bed number where you want to assign to your planting:
As you select your beds, AgSquared tallies the total row-feet that are associated with your plantings. You can compare this tally to the total row-feet required to make sure that you have allocated enough space for your planting.
